‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind’.
And the second is like it:
‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself’.
On these two commandments hang all the Law and the prophets.
The Ten Commandments are:

‘I am the Lord your God. You shall not have strange gods before me. You shall not make to yourself any graven thing, nor the likeness of anything that is in the heaven above, or in the earth beneath, nor of those things that are in the waters of the earth. You shall not adore them or serve them.’
- You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
- Remember to keep holy the Lord’s Day.
- Honour your father and your mother.
- You shall not kill.
- You shall not commit adultery.
- You shall not steal.
- You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.
- You shall not covet your neighbour’s wife.
- You shall not covet your neighbour’s goods.
